Rev. Dr. Frederick J. Streets, M.Div., MSW, DSW, LCSW is one of the most credentialled voices at the intersection of pastoral theology, clinical social work and clergy wellness in America.
He served as Yale University Chaplain and Senior Pastor of the Church of Christ at Yale from 1992 to 2007, the first African American and Baptist to hold that position. He is a licensed clinical social worker, Fulbright Scholar, faculty member at Columbia University School of Social Work and a founding faculty member of the Harvard Program in Refugee Trauma.
Dr. Streets is the author of How Are You “Being”? Clergy Wellness in a Time of Uncertainty, the only clergy wellness book built on original survey research gathered from UCC clergy during the COVID-19 pandemic.
